About Infinity8
Infinity8 is a UK-based software provider specialising in secure, configurable case management solutions for organisations supporting vulnerable individuals and communities. Based in the South West of England, we work closely with care-based and public sector organisations to deliver systems that reflect real-world practice, support multi-agency working, and meet the governance and safeguarding requirements of complex service environments.
Our Background
Infinity8 was founded by Matthew Orchard following his voluntary work with a domestic violence charity. While supporting the organisation to improve its use of an existing case management system, it became clear that the complexity and sensitivity of frontline casework required a more flexible and robust solution. In particular, the organisation needed greater control over user permissions, workflows and data visibility to safely support clients with multiple and overlapping needs. In response, Infinity8 worked in close partnership with practitioners to develop Orchard Case Management — a highly configurable platform designed to support a wide range of case management models. Since its inception, Orchard has been successfully adapted to meet the needs of multiple care-based organisations across different service areas, while maintaining a consistent and intuitive user experience.

Our systems are designed to enable effective communication, accurate record-keeping and a holistic view of an individual’s journey through support services, while maintaining strict controls around access, data security and auditability.
Infinity8 operates within a robust information governance framework and is accredited to ISO 27001. Our platform is developed in line with UK GDPR requirements and supports multi-factor authentication (MFA), single sign-on (SSO) and role-based access control (RBAC). These controls ensure that information is accessible only to those who need it, supporting safeguarding, compliance and accountability in multi-agency environments.
Supporting Multi-Agency and Joined-Up Working
Orchard Case Management is designed to support both single-service delivery and multi-agency working. Bespoke systems can be configured for individual service areas, underpinned by shared infrastructure that enables controlled interconnectivity where appropriate. This allows organisations to share relevant information, link client records, coordinate interventions and support multi-disciplinary working, while respecting local governance arrangements and information-sharing agreements.
The platform is scalable and can support collaboration across teams, services and partner organisations, including geographic interconnectivity where multiple authorities or partners use the same system.
